Youth participate in wildlife banquet in Wadena

The Youth Wildlife Banquet was Sunday, Dec. 27 at the Elks Lodge in Wadena. Forty-two participants took part in the games and prizes co-sponsored by Knob Hill Sportsman's Club and the Wadena Chapter of the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (MDHA). Nine firearms were given away to lucky youth:

• Isabelle Mikel - H&R 243 with scope

• Dawson Lupkes - Winchester 12 ga pump

• Emmlee Huntington - Savage Model 64 22

• Dominick Fuller - H&R 243 with scope

• Logan Wegscheid - Winchester 12 ga pump

• Alisyn Rathcke - Mossberg 702 Black Syn

• Brenna Thompson - Mossberg 702 Wood 22

• Hunter Holti - Savage Axis 270 cal

Here are the game winners:

Each participant went home with a prize after the event. Participants also enjoyed a lunch.
