Making it to state is a big deal. Making it there your first year of wrestling in the first year of Minnesota's girls' wrestling tournaments is historic.
WDC Junior Madelyn Gallant came out in second place with a 3-1 record at the section wrestling tournament last week in the 138-weight class. BHVPP No. 1 seed Abby Ervasti also secured a trip with her finish as champion in the 145-weight class.
