According to a release by the Beck County Sheriff's Office, Ryan Goroski, 41, was struck and killed by a passing train near Detroit Lakes on Monday.
On Sunday, Jan. 22 at 5:30 p.m., a Fargo man was reported as "not breathing" following a single-snowmobile rollover crash in Becker County.
William John Baumgart, 34, of Perham was driving the pickup truck and was taken to the Perham hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was a factor and he was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash involved a 34-year-old Perham man in a pickup truck and four Waubun residents, including two young children, in a Toyota Sequoia SUV.

Two Wadena residents suffered minor injuries Wednesday and were transported to Tri-County Hospital after their horse-drawn buggy was struck by vehicle on County Road 50.

On Nov. 26, a caller reported their neighbor was acting “weird” and was outside “freaking out” over Taylor Swift music, according to a Wadena Police incident report. After interviewing the parties involved, the individuals were having a birthday party and there were no issues.
Paul David Stenholm, 88, of Pelican Rapids suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol. The report doesn't say whether or where he went to a hospital for treatment.
The single-vehicle incident on Highway 23 involved a 19-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl.
