Water was temporarily diverted from a flooded portion of road on Lincoln Ave. SW to a ditch area along the edge of Tapley Park last week in Wadena. Melting snow and rainfall created some flooded roadways around the city.

A bit of flooding overtakes a portion of road in the Wadena County Fairgrounds Tuesday morning. The Commercial Building and Horse Barn are some of the newer buildings on site since the tornado destruction in 2010. The horse barn gets extra use as a school bus garage in the off season.

County Highway 4 along Mason Brothers in Wadena is closed to through traffic until further notice from Harry Rich Drive to Third Street NE. The roadway was left gravel last fall after reconstruction was delayed. It's now in poor driving condition from the rain and snow melt.
