The Border West Buccaneers racked up victories in 10 of 14 weights Tuesday in defeating the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines 55-16.
Notching victories for the Wolverines were Sam Waln at 113, Devin Barthel at 126 and Tony Reurink at 220. WDC Head Coach Norm Gallant was especially impressed with Waln's pin of Border West's Tracer Lee at the 3:26 mark. Gallant believes the victory puts his 113-pounder on a collison course with new York Mills' Shane Novak for the No. 1 seed in Section 6A. Waln is 20-5 with 10 pins.
Reurink reeled off his 17th victory of the sesaon and the 71st of his career when he pinned Wyatt Tritz at the 58-second mark of their 220-pound match.

Wolverines suffer losses to Parkers, Otter Tail Central
The Otter Tail Central Bulldogs cashed in on four forfeits in racking up up their first victory over Wadena-Deer Creek Thursday in th Otter Tail Central Triangular at Henning.
Tristan Godel and Sam Waln gave the Wolverines a 12-0 lead with pins of Sam Naddy and Steven Araca. The Bulldogs won nine of the next 10 matches. Jacob Ludovissie broke the string at 152 by edging Austin Montgomery 5-3 in overtime.

The Bulldogs built a 42-21 lead before Mason Lohmiller and Tony Reurink scored pins at 220 and 285.
Quentin Urar and Tyler Schlosser nailed down a 43-27 win over WDC with victories over Caleb Monson and Reurink. Urar scored a pin at the 2:44 mark of his 195-pound match with Monson. Reurink was forced to go on the offensive late in his match with Schlosser and lost a 10-2 major decision.
OTC won the triangular with a 58-21 victory over Parkers Prairie.
