Wadena-Deer Creek's Gabi Ross and Jess Rondestvedt qualified for the second round of Section 6AA golf competition Monday at Blackberry Ridge.
Ross was six strokes off the first day's best score with a 90. Rondestvedt shot a 94.
The top eight individuals, not members of a qualifying team, and any individual within five strokes of the golfer in first place, advanced to the second round.
Rocori's Marja Sorenson posted a 73 for first day medalist honors.
Wadena-Deer Creek placed eighth in team competition Monday with a 407. WDC's McKayla Woods shot a 109 and teammate Jessica Langer fired a 114.
