Wadena-Deer Creek's Gabi Ross and Jess Rondestvedt fired rounds of 87 and 92 Tuesday at Blackberry Ridge but failed to advance to state with the Section 6AA field.
The two WDC golfers qualified for second round action Monday with rounds of 90 and 94 respectively. Ross had a two-day total score of 177 and Rondestvedt notched a two-day score of 186.
WDC teammates McKayla Woods and Jessica Langer failed to make the first cut Monday after bringing in rounds of 109 and 114.
St. Cloud Cathedral won the team title with a 705. The best two-day individual total was turned in by Rocori's Marja Sorenson, who had a 152.
The Class AA state tournament will be held June 9-10 at The Ridges of Sand Creek near Jordan.
