Wadena-Deer Creek's Alex Redfield and Jake Dykhoff have been named to the Mid-State's All-Conference baseball team for the 2015 season.
Redfield, a junior, manned first base for the Wolverines this season. Dykhoff, a freshman, split his time between catching and pitching.
WDC juniors Joseph Wallgren and Tanner Horn received honorable mention. Wallgren pitched for the Wolverines while played the infield.
Other Mid-State players named to the all-conference team were Detroit Lakes' Ryan Cihak, Connor Johnson, Sam Beck, Cooper Heimark and Josh Bollig; Perham's Dylan Kruzel, Joe Solberg, Alex Meyer and Dylan Perrine; Pequot Lakes' Justin Olson, Connor Davich and Austin Messenbrink; Park Rapids' Jon Burlingame and Derek Poroznski; Staples-Motley's Eric Kossan and Crosby-Ironton's Jake Larson.
Earning honorable mention were Detroit Lakes' Trey Lyngass and Matt Haire; Perham's Mason Malikowski; Pequot Lakes' Jack Kreitz; Park Rapids' Chase Brand and Crosby-Ironton's Noah Gindorff and Derek French.

Hinojos chosen for Mid-State softball team
Senior catcher Maddy Hinojos has been selected for the Mid-State's 2015 All-Conference softball team.
Joining Hinojos on as honorable mention picks were teammates Morgan Zeise and Casey Volkmann.
Perham and Pequot Lakes both had four all-conference selections. The Yellowjackets placed Allie Doll, Annie Ingebrand, Brittany Miller and Alex Lubitz. The Patriots placed Kathryn Misk
a, Laura Squires, Haley Wiebolt and Hannah Zimmerman.
Detroit Lakes all-conference picks were Kyra Vagle, Hailey Sonstegard and Sydney Prussia.
Park Rapids and Staples-Motley both had a pair of all-conference players. The Panthers placed Hope Johnson and Sydney Bynum while the Cardinals placed Lisa Kossan and Quinn Uhlmann.
Molly McCusker was Crosby-Ironton's lone all-conference selection.

Wolden shoots hole-in-one
Justin Wolden shot a hole-in-one on No. 6 May 23 at Whitetail Run.
Wolden used a 7-iron to ace the 172-yard hole.
