The Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders forfeited 18 points Tuesday in a 42-33 loss to Royalton-Upsala and finished second in their own triangular at Verndale.
Scoring victories for BHV against Royalton-Upsala were Quin Kern at 106, Jarrett Kveton at 138, Brayden Bertram at 145, Holt Truax at 182, Craig Orlando at 220 and Charlie Nienaber at 285.
The Raiders defeated Prairie Valley 36-30 for runner-up honors. Royalton-Upsala topped Prairie Valley 43-22.
Mike Barthel's Raiders will compete in the Staples-Motley Triangular Thursday and will travel to New London Friday for an invitational tournament.
