ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Timberwolves wing Taurean Prince was jailed Thursday in Miami-Dade County on a fugitive warrant, according to county records.

Andy Slater, an on-air personality for Fox Sports 640 South Florida, reported Prince was arrested at Miami International Airport.

The Timberwolves issued the following statement: “We are aware of the alleged report regarding Taurean Prince and are in the process of gathering more information.”

The 28-year-old re-signed with Minnesota this offseason after averaging 7.3 points and 2.5 rebounds a game last season.
