Packers set sights on Super Bowl as season opens
Aaron Rodgers, the 2021 NFL MVP, leads a new crew of wide receivers heading into the 2022 season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. The Green Bay Packers look to advance past the divisional playoffs and make a Super Bowl run.
For the Green Bay Packers, their sights for the 2022 NFL season is on capturing a fifth Super Bowl ring.
Analysts expect the Packers to be in the mix, but first Green Bay must open the season on the road Sunday, Sept. 11, against the Minnesota Vikings.
The team's top receiver, Davante Adams, was traded, so all-world quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have fresh faces, including a trio of rookie wide receivers, to target. The group will need to gel quickly during the season if the Packers intend to repeat as NFC North champions and play in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Ariz.
