The Minnesota Wild begin their quest for an expected deep playoff run with the regular season opener against the New York Rangers at 7 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul.

The opening game is part of a four-game homestand, which includes a Saturday night matchup against former Wild winger Kevin Fiala and the Los Angeles Kings, which fell in its opener to the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday.
