WADENA — The Wadena-Deer Creek trap team is entering their 10th year as a club and blasting their way to greatness after a second place finish in their conference last year.
Coach Chelsa Golberg is assisted by coaches Mike Kenney, Doug Adams and Dan Hahn. The group welcomes in 40 students to the field this year. That includes students in grades 7-12 as well as nine-10 sixth-grade students, who are practicing in house to get a feel for the sport.
"We have a great group of kids who came out this year and we are excited for our season! " Golberg said.
