BEMIDJI — A stormy Monday made for some tough golf playing when the Wolverines headed to Bemidji. Playing was shortened by hail on the course. Luckily they got more sun for an outing at Pequot Lakes on Tuesday, May 10.
The fair weather day allowed Cole Woods to lead for the Wolverines with an 80 and a tie for seventh place out of 54.
"Isaac Christianson shot 95 and Jaeger Pettit continues to improve each meet shooting his best so far with a 95," according to coach Scott Woods.
Other W-DC scores include Aidan Allred at 100; Eshetu Loer, 105; and Phillip Ross, 114.
The teams are just warming up, but they are already heading into conference meets next week.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
