Teresa Moenkedick tacked up 27 points and Jordyn Glenz added 15 Friday as the hot-shooting Verndale Pirates saddled Menahga with a 58-52 Park Region Conference loss on the Verndale court.
The Pirates canned 57 percent of their field goal shots in lifting their season record to 7-8.
Tarah Cleveland netted 25 points for the Braves while Jenny Skoog chipped in with 12. The Braves shot a cool 27 percent from the field.
