Eric Blaha led the way with a double-double Friday as Verndale topped Parkers Prairie 63-56 to end the regular season with a 20-5 record.

The senior standout netted 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Pirates who now take a four-game winning streak into post-season play. The Pirates will entertain the winner of the Bertha-Hewitt/Sebeka playoff game at 7 p.m. Thursday in Verndale.

Mitchell Blaha also finished in double figures for Verndale with 14 tallies. The Pirates converted on 26 of 50 shots inside the three-point arc for a 52 percent clip.

Grant Yohnke was high point man for the Panthers with 28. Andrew Johnson pumped in 16.

The Panthers were 14 of 35 on two-point shots for 40 percent.
