Three Verndale girls finished the night in double figures Tuesday and lifted the Pirates to a commanding 66-34 victory over Laporte.
Elizabeth Johnson led the Pirates with 15 points while Trista Finck chipped in with 12 and Teresa Moenkedick scored 10.
Kim Hyatt contributed half of Laporte's offense with 17 points.

Tarah Cleveland had a big scoring night with 24 points as the Braves trimmed the Pirates in a Park Region Conference duel.
Lindsey White gave the Braves 14 points from the outside.
The Braves took advantage of Verndale foul problem to go 23 of 43 at the line.

The Pirates broke a five-game slide.
Elizabeth Johnson and Teresa Moenkedick backed up Finck with 11 and 10 points respectively.
