It's time to get moving and make Strides for NICUs.
Head to Arvig Park, located on Highway 51 in Perham Oct. 30. Registration takes place from 8-9:30 a.m.; the 5K race begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Family Walk/Run at 10:45 a.m.
This event is open to participants of all ages. There will be two age groups for both men's and women's 5K divisions, under 25 and over 25. The Family Walk/Run is also open to everyone and is a great way for anyone that doesn't want to participate in the race to get moving and support a cause. The cost for the 5K is $20 for all racing participants. The cost for the Family Walk/Run is $20, but kids 12 and under are free. All paying participants will receive a T-shirt.
All proceeds benefit Ella's Halo, a Minnesota non-profit organization created to help provide some comforts of home to babies and families spending extended time in Twin Cities neonatal intensive care units (NICU).
