The Wolverines managed to tie the taller Patriots 19-all on the boards.

"I thought we rebounded as well as we have all season," WDC head coach Tom VanErp said. "Considering Pequot Lakes goes 6-7, 6-5 in the post we did a great job of rebounding."

The Patriots avenged a 51-48 loss to the Wolverines in a Jan. 22 game at Wadena.

The loss dropped the Wolverines to 8-10 overall and 3-6 in the Mid-State.
