Jessica Gapinski had three goals and one assist Tuesday as the Park Rapids Panthers completed a season sweep of the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek Blue Devils with an 8-1 Mid-State Conference victory.
Morgan Zeise scored the first goal in the Wadena Arena for the Blue Devils at 15:40 of the second period.
Sarah Holm and Angela Hanson combined for 36 saves in the loss. Bailey Moore kicked out 18 shots for the Panthers.
The Panthers won for the fourth time in five games and improved their record to 8-7. The loss snapped a two-game streak for the Blue Devils and dropped their record to 4-11.

Katelyn Barthel, Halley Maas and Brooke Umland iced goals as the Blue Devils defeated the Tigers.
Angela Hanson stopped nine shots in the victory.

Brooke Umland scored the winning goal off a feed from Kylee Damm with 1:19 left as the Blue Devils rallied to edge the Cardinals.
Umland tied the game at 4-all with just 3:19 left with an assist from Sarah Najjar.
Najjar, Halley Maas and Sam Killian also scored goals for the Blue Devils.
River Lakes 7, LPGE/WDC 1
Rachael Prozinski scored a hat trick and a playmaker in the same game as the Stars topped the Blue Devils.

Erin Porwoll had a goal and two assists in the win.
Ashley Helseth opened the scoring at the 5:50 mark of the first period with assists from Kylee Helling and Ana Sturdavent.
