The Detroit Lakes Lakers ousted Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Wadena-Deer Creek from the Section 6A playoffs Saturday with a 5-4 victory.
Brianna Seebold had the hot stick as the Lakers grabbed a 4-0 lead before the Blue Devils got on the scoreboard. Seebold iced four goals and chipped in with one assist.
The Blue Devils put just 13 shots on goal. Leah Dykhoff countered with two goals for the Blue Devils. Sam Killian and Cassie Behl also scored goals. Killian had a pair of assists while Kylee Damm and Katelyn Peters both recorded one.
Sam Gorka kicked out 36 shots for the Blue Devils.
"The girls played a great final game of the season," Blue Devils coach Jim Conrad said.

The Blue Devils ended the season with a record of 8-14.
