Wadena-Deer Creek's Jordan Kern shot an 88 Tuesday in the Section 6AA golf tournament for a two-day total of 172 at Blackberry Ridge.
Kern was WDC's lone qualifier for second round play on Monday. Failing to advance were Thomas Quincer (90), Jack Goeden (98), Matthew Quincer (107), Wade Piper (123) and Dawson Lupkes (126).
The best two-day individual round of the tournament, a 144, was turned in by David Schneider of Albany. St. Cloud Cathedral took top team honors with a two-day total of 647.
