Cole Hunstad and Devin Stack combined for 21 points as the Pillager Huskies held onto the top spot in the Park Region Conference with a 58-51 win Tuesday night at Verndale.
The Huskies are 6-1 in the PRC and 11-4 on the season. The loss dropped the Pirates to 3-3 in the PRC and 4-9 overall.
Josh Gilb was high point man for the Pirates with 18 points. Aaron Denny kicked in with 15. The Huskies managed to hold Dallas Ehrmantraut to six tallies.

The Pirates shot 50 percent from the field Thursday night in handing Park Region Conference foe Sebeka a loss on their home court.
Aaron Denny and Josh Gilb both netted 16 points for the Pirates while Dallas Ehrmantraut canned 15.

Sebeka's Paul Funk led all scorers with 28 points. Justin Clark chipped in with 12 points and Carlos Castro scored 11.
The Trojans held a slim 30-28 lead at the first half but could not keep up the scoring pace Verndale set in the second. The Trojans took 29 more floor shots than the Pirates but made only 21 field goal for a cool 28 percent.
The victory was Verndale's first over Sebeka since 2007.
