Golden Gloves boxing will be held March 19 at the Wadena Armory. Bouts will begin at 7:30 p.m. with 12 bouts scheduled.
Wadena boxers will be hosting boxing teams from St. Cloud, Duluth, Red Lake, Central Minnesota Boxing, Leech Lake, Detroit Lakes, Cloquet and Alexandria.
Tom Busek, Sr. will be the main event in the Masters Division against Glenn Erickson of Duluth.
Other Wadena boxers include Devin Gonzales, Juan Nunez, Abigail Clayton, Tyler McGary, Sam Schreader, Preston Eagletail and Damion Gonzales. Matt Umland and Adam Umland will also compete. Dustin Kotchen and Hannah Bahr will be matched from Central Minnesota Boxing, Wadena.
Region IV Golden Gloves tournaments will be April 15-16 at the Wadena Armory.
