WADENA — When the going gets tough, the Wolverine wrestling team keeps on going.
Faced with a furnace of a day on Monday, July 18, the typical workout was switched up for the wrestling team. Head coach Brad Wollum opted for a cooler setting with a capture the flag type outing at Fink Park just across the street from Wadena-Deer Creek School.
The kids grabbed squirt guns and water balloons and had a blast blasting one another on the steamy evening.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
