Madisyn Dingmann came up with a hat trick Saturday as the Luverne Cardinals notched a 5-1 victory over Prairie Centre.
Prairie Centre's Gabby Olson scored the first goal of the game on a power play at the 10:02 mark of the opening period. Dingmann tied the game at 14:29 of the first period with an assist from Makayla Sterrett.
The Cards scored three unanswered goals in the second period. Dingmann sandwiched a pair of goals around a solo goal by Mariah Aukes. A pair of assists helped Aukes match Dingmann's three-point effort.
Emilie Bartels kicked out 24 of Prairie Centre's 25 shots. Angela Hanson stopped 18 shots in the loss.
The Blue Devils saw a three-game win streak snapped as they dropped to 10-7. The Cardinals improved their season mark to 14-5.

Prairie Centre will host home games with Alexandria and state-ranked Mound-Westonka Jan. 14-15.

Mikayla Olson iced a pair of goals Thursday and Angela Hanson rejected 24 shots as the Blue Devils skated to a Mid-State Conference victory Thursday over Detroit Lakes on the Wadena rink.
Kenzie Christianson got the Blue Devils started in the right direction when she scored at the 11:46 mark of the opening period. Gabby Olson and Kylee Hopp were credited with assists.
Olson put Prairie Centre ahead 2-0 with an unassisted goal at 14:02 of the first period.
Gabby Olson assisted Mikayla Olson with Prairie Centre's third straight goal at 13:19 of the second period.
Prairie Centre goal's Angela Hanson gave up her only goal at 14:31 of the second period to Detroit Lakes' Annie Ingebrand. Savanna Nolan earned an assist on the goal.
Hanson finished the game with 24 saves. Detroit Lakes' Kyndra McDougall kicked out 20 shots.

Kenzie Christianson scored the winning goal with 22 seconds remaining Tuesday as the Blue Devils shaded Park Rapids at Long Prairie's Expo Arena.
Christianson, who carried the bulk of the scoring load in Prairie Centre's three games at the Schwan Cup Tournament in Blaine, iced a pair of third period goals. Her first goal came at the 15:35 mark and gave the Blue Devils a 2-1 advantage. Brooke Jerger tied the game with 35 seconds left on the scoring clock.
McKayla Woods opened the scoring for Prairie Centre in the first period with a power play goal at the 3:05 mark. Alex Kennedy made it a 1-1 game with a second period power play goal.
Mikayla Olson was credited with two assists in the victory. Woods and Abby Ecker earned assists on Christianson's winning goal.

Angela Hanson stopped 19 shots in the win.
The Blue Devils moved to 9-6 overall and 2-1 in the Mid-State Conference.
