Photo provided. Former Nimrod resident Jane (Meech) Melby took top honors in three of 10 rounds last week at the National Final Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nev. Melby and her seven-year-old mare Beauty posted a 13.71 time in the 10th round of barrel racing earning a tie for the third-fastest time in the 10-day competition. Melby has earned $122,994 in competition this season.
