Angela Hanson kicked out 15 of Willmar's 16 shots Tuesday as Prairie Centre broke a five-game losing streak by edging the Cardinals 2-1.
The Blue Devils outshot the Cardinals 10-3 in the third period which saw all of the game's scoring. Lupita Mora iced the game's first goal with an assist from Gabby Olson. The Blue Devils gave themselves a much-needed insurance goal as McKayla Woods found the net on a power play with assists from Olson and Kenzie Christianson.
Goals have come hard for the Blue Devils since the beginning of January. The Prairie Centre club has scored only nine times in their last eight outings.
The Blue Devils evened their record at 11-11.

Lexi Hinckley Smith iced a pair of goals Monday as the Panthers topped Prairie Centre in a Mid-State Conference rematch.
The victory gave the Panthers a regular season split with the Blue Devils. Bob Bergman's team edged Park Rapids 3-2 in a game Jan. 5 at Long Prairie.
HinckleySmith was joined in the scoring by Brooke Jerger.
