Kenzie Christianson's two goals triggered a 5-1 victory last Thursday and carried Prairie Centre past Rochester Mayo in the third-place game of the Schwan Cup's White Division.
Christianson opened the scoring at 6:12 of the first period with help from McKayla Woods.
After Maddi Lutz tied the game in the second period with assists from Brooke Leone and Eryn Fjelstad, Christianson put the Blue Devils ahead for good with a power play goal at 14:46. Assisting on the goal were Mikayla Olson and Abby Ecker.
Third period action favored the Blue Devils. Woods took a feed from Gabby Olson on a power play at 4:18. Gabby Olson used an assist from Mikayla Olson for the period's second goal at 6:04. Ally Ecker capped the scoring at 13:27 with assists from Kylee Hopp and Lupita Mora.
Angela Hanson was credited with 21 saves in the win.

The Blue Devils climbed to 8-6.
Prairie Centre is slated to host Detroit Lakes at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Wadena Arena.
The Prairie Centre JV team claimed runner-up honors in the Schwan Cup. Lyndsay Frisch found the net as the Blue Devils edged Marshall 3-2 Thursday in a shootout match. Rosie Och earned the net victory.

Alicia Williams' hat trick provided the winning margin Wednesday in a White Division game at the Super Rink in Blaine.
Williams scored a pair of power play goals in the second period but it was her third goal that broke a 3-3 tie and sent the Golden Bears on their way to a victory. Anna Seitz and Brenna Cegler scored insurance goals for Eveleth-Gilbert.
Gabby Olson scored Prairie Centre's first goal in the opening period to tie the game at 1-all. Kenzie Christianson and Kylee Hopp earned assists on the goal.
Both clubs scored a pair of goals in the second period. Christianson iced an unassisted goal at 10:42 and came back with a power play goal at 15:55. Gabby and Mikayla Olson were credited with assists.
Angela Hanson stopped 13 shots in the loss. The Blue Devils outshot the Golden Bears 24-19.

Angela Hanson allowed one second period goal and Abby Ecker collected four assists Tuesday as the Blue Devils defeated the Spartans in the first round of the Schwan Cup Tournament.
Ecker was bad news for the Spartans whenever she got near the puck. She joined Mikayla Olson in setting up Gabby Olson with the game's first goal 11 minutes into the opening period.
After Eryn Fjelstad evened the game at 1-all with an unassisted goal at 2:31 of the second period, Ecker set up Kenzie Christianson for back-to-back goals to give Prairie Centre a 3-1 advantage. Christianson' first goal was scored on a power play.
The Blue Devils capped the scoring in the third period with a power play goal by Kylee Hopp and a short-handed goal by Gabby Olson. Reece Ritter earned an assist on Hopp's goal. Ecker and Christianson assisted on Olson's goal.
Hanson stopped 22 shots in the contest.
