River Lakes stops Prairie Centre

A rough first period prove to be too much for the Prairie Centre Blue Devils in the quarterfinals of the Section 6A playoffs when they suffered a 6-1 defeat to River Lakes at the Richmond Arena on Feb. 9.

Hannah Zimmer scored a pair of goals for River Lakes, including the eventual game-winning goal in the second period. Brooke Lemke and McKenzie Cremers each added a pair of goals in extending the lead in the second and third periods.
