Katie Anderson's 93 set the pace for the Wadena-Deer Creek girls' golf team Saturday in the WDC Co-ed Invitational at Whitetail Run.
Kayla Krause finished six strokes behind Anderson to come in just under the century mark on the cold and windy spring day. Breanna Speed posted a 115 while Amanda Kramer shot a 118 and Heather Theisen shot a 134.
The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks won the invitational with a 342. Staples-Motley's Cydney Hasselberg won medalist honors with an 82. The Wolverines placed fifth with a 425.

Krause, Anderson earn honors
Wadena-Deer Creek's Kayla Krause shot an 85 for Mid-State all-conference honors and teammate Katie Anderson carded a 94 for honorable mention in a meet at Ruttgers Bay last Tuesday.
Amanda Kramer notched a 108 for the Wolverines while Breanna Speed shot a 121, Ella Harrison brought in a 131 and Paige Hartman recorded a 137.
Cydney Hasselberg of Staples-Motley shot a 75 for medalist honors. Hasselberg's club won the meet with a 341. The Wolverines shot a 408 for fifth place.
