Authorities also identified apparent drowning victim Lance Edward Scheer, 19, of Redwood Falls, who was pulled from the water after he had been swimming in the river near Vicksburg Park. Both incident are under investigation.

A 13-year-old boy died of a stab wound after being transported to the Olivia Hospital and Clinic on Thursday morning. His mother is recovering from injuries. A man known to the victim is in custody.
