Last week, Rod Broding of Battle Lake and his friend confirmed that we are all God's children by exposing our childish behavior. Rod didn't like his friend saying that a passage from the Bible proves that God is a Republican so Rod decided he would imitate his friend's childish behavior by claiming that God is a Democrat.
I challenge Rod or his friend to show us a Democrat or Republican party registration form with God's signature on it. Using scripture in an attempt to categorize God is like trying to push a square peg into a round hole. It is not the right purpose or place for it and it does not make those who continue pushing the peg look very intelligent. However, I'll bet that pointing this out will not stop Rod from taking a hammer to the square peg.
