Wolves on endangered list bad for deer population

Will 2015 be the year the deer harvest in Minnesota drops below 100,000? Will 2015 be the year the deer season is closed in Minnesota for the second time? I remember the first time it was closed. The years it took to rebuild the deer herd. Who will we blame? The DNR, hunters, bad winter, wolves, coyotes, bears and bobcats. Maybe all of the above. The DNR for underestimating what happens when you kill too many does, and not remembering that Minnesota winters can cause heavy losses to our deer herd. Hunters, for over harvesting breeding stock just because you could. Shoot the doe and let the little buck go. You didn't just kill a doe, you killed two or possibly three deer. Bad winters not only kill fawns, but bucks that are run down from the rut. If it gets bad enough the does lose the fawns they are carrying. The last time the season was closed, wolf numbers were below 600. Now we have 3000 or more wolves and they have to eat to live. What do they eat? Moose, elk, deer, cattle and your pets. Our moose and elk numbers are low it looks like they will dine on deer, cattle and your pets. I sat in on wolf meetings when I worked for MDHA in 1981 to 1983. We were told that the wolf numbers would be limited to 1200 wolves. I said I didn't believe them and didn't trust them. The State of Minnesota, federal government and environmentalists were not telling us the truth at those meetings. We should have got it in writing, we made a mistake. We trusted them.

Christmas display violates first amendment of Constitution

It has come to my attention that there is a religious display at one of the city's parks. I am writing because I am concerned about the violation of the separation of church and state clause in the first amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The church and state clause of the first amendment is there to prevent the government on any level to show any support of any religion. It doesn't matter if the government or if a private party put up the religious display on public property.

I am requesting that the City immediately remove any and all religious displays on all government property whether it is outside on public property or if it is inside a government building.

I am also requesting that the City put in some policies to make sure there will not be any violation in the future. Thank you for your time
