God is the author of Marriage. It's been that way since the beginning of time!
God created us, male and female, in his own image and likeness. He instituted and sanctified marriage as a union of one man and one woman.
God blessed them, saying be fruitful and multiply. Hence, the miracle of childbirth came to be for the continuation of the world. It can't be any other way!
God also gave us laws. But we are all sinners, and don't always obey his laws because he also gave us free will.
We are commanded to love our neighbors as ourselves, regardless of the choices they make. Perhaps same-sex couples that want to commit themselves to each other for life should lobby the state and federal governments to grant civil unions the same benefits allowed for married couples. Don't call a civil union a marriage, because it is not.

People can choose who they want to love and how they want to live, but no one has the right to redefine marriage.
Passage of the Marriage Protection Amendment will ensure that only the people of Minnesota - and not just a few judges or politicians - can decide how our state will define marriage in the future.
