An "off the deck" concert will be held Sunday at the Cultural Center in New York Mills, during which local Otter Tail County musicians in the reggae/jazz band MOTU will perform, according to a press release sent to the Pioneer Journal.
This is the Cultural Center's last free concert of the year. The series will resume in the spring.
The event will include grilled sandwiches and cool drinks. Patrons are welcome to bring a lawn chair to the activity, which is funded by the Lake Region Arts Council and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on Nov. 4, 2008.
