William “Glenn” Schmock

William “Glenn” Schmock was born on August 6, 1938, to William and Thelma (Ogg) Schmock in Shickley, Nebraska. He attended West Central School of Agriculture in Morris, Minnesota, graduating with the class of 1957. Following graduation, Glenn enlisted in the United States Army, honorably serving his country from 1957 to 1965. Glenn resided in Norcross, Minnesota where he farmed with his dad. He moved to Aitkin, Minnesota for some time as well as Bay City, Texas.

On July 5, 2003, Glenn was united in marriage to Deloris Roseen in Roseau, Minnesota. Glenn and Deloris made their home in Menahga, Minnesota and Wadena, Minnesota where Glenn was employed with R.D. Offutt Farms. In April 2021, they made their home in Park Rapids, Minnesota following Glenn’s retirement.

Glenn enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was an active member of the American Legion in Sebeka, Minnesota.

On October 23, 2021 Glenn passed away at Heritage Living in Park Rapids at 83 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Glenn in death are his parents; and sisters: Juanita Mohrman; and Irene Quamme.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife: Deloris of Park Rapids; and sisters: LaVay Borresen of Spicer; and LaVonne Dupree of Breckenridge; many other relatives and a host of friends.
