Eugene “Gene” Frisbie

Funeral services were held for Eugene Frisbie, age 94 of Parkers Prairie (formerly of Wadena) on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena, Minnesota. Eugene was laid to rest with Honors at the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota.
Eugene Richard Frisbie was born on January 29, 1928 in Nimrod, Minnesota. His parents were the late Kenneth and Gladys (Drake) Frisbie. Eugene attended the Sebeka High School and then entered into the United States Army.
Eugene’s time in the service was a very important part of his life. He was proud to serve in 3 wars and he enjoyed telling stories of his time in the Army. The Service brought him to Germany where he met his loving wife, Anni and brought her back to the states. On March 8, 1966 Eugene was united in marriage with Anni Elizabeth Kraemer in Woodbridge, Virginia. Together they lived a happily married life for 56 years in Wadena, Minnesota.
Eugene’s other love was cars. He was a successful dealership owner in Wadena for many years where he helped his community and made many dear friends along the way!
Eugene Richard Frisbie of Wadena, MN passed away peacefully at the age of 94 at St Williams in Parker’s Prairie, MN on April 14th, 2022. Eugene will be remembered and missed by many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys & Kenneth, his loving wife, Anni, his brothers, Milton “Bud”, Gail, Harold “Pick” and his sister Janean (Frisbie) St. Amour.
He is survived by his brother, Gary Frisbie (fr: Montana), Sister in laws, Judy (Gail) and Peggy (Harold) (Minnesota). From Montana, nieces Sandi and Shari and his nephew Ron. From Minnesota his nieces, Tammy & Amanda and nephews, Kevin, Steve and Paul, from Alaska his nephew Daryl.
