Duane Crouse

Duane Crouse, Bawana, passed away on March 23 in Abilene, Texas. He was born on October 7,1946 in Bertha, Mn to Fern and Myrl Crouse of Deer Creek, Mn. He attended Deer Creek schools. He wore many hats in his life. He was a carnival game operator, a truck driver and most of all a Harley Davidson enthusiast. His motorcycles were his pride and joy. At an early age he married Vicky Ralich and together he raised her two children, Leslie Sovich and Jimmy Schey, who Bawana loved as his own kids to his dying day. Bawana and I were together for 30 years and he was the love of my life, as I was with him. He never missed a day to tell me how much he loved me and multiple times a day. He loved with his whole heart and then some. He was never afraid to say I Love You to anyone...He is survived by Marolyn Schmidt, his wife of 30 years, his daughter Kimberly Crouse of Grapeland, TX, his son Dustin Dahlberg of New Prague, Mn, his step son and step daughter, Jimmy Schey and Leslie Sovich, his siblings Eldora (Mike) Kaasa, Bruce (Sandy) Crouse, Casey (Bobbi) Crouse and Roberta (Larry) Carlson.Survived by grandchildren, Arriana, Josh, Jordan, Kylie, Taylor and Danea. Also survived by my children, Tara, Jenny, Eric and Amy. He helped raise many children throughout his life and they also included Jody, Bunny, Flower and Isaac, Kimberly’s siblings. He loved every single one of them as his own. I will miss this man until MY dying day. Memorial will be this spring at a later date when motorcycles can ride!
