Billie Moench

Memorial Services will be held for Billie Moench, age 73, of Sebeka, Minnesota on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Karvonen Funeral Home in Wadena, Minnesota. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Billie will be laid to rest at Wing River Cemetery, Sebeka, Minnesota.

Billie Gene Moench was born on February 14, 1949, in Wadena, Minnesota to Stanley and Violet (Goble) Moench. He attended District #23 Country School through the 8th grade, and attended Sebeka High School, graduating with the class of 1969.

On Sept 20, 1969, Billie was united in marriage to Connie Jo (Burgess) Fredericksen in Wadena. Their marriage was blessed with 2 children: Kelly & Tammy.

Billie was drafted into the United States Army on June 23, 1971. He honorably served his country for 2 years, spending one year stationed in Germany working on helicopters. Following his discharge in 1973. He worked at few different places including Homecrest in Wadena. Where he worked as a metal finisher until he retired.

On August 19, 1994, Billie was united in marriage to Carolyn Bowman at home in rural Sebeka. Billie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Billie passed away on April 15, 2022, at home at 73 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Billie in death are his parents; daughter: Tammy; and brothers: Donald and Kenny.

Surviving Billie is his wife: Carolyn of Sebeka; son: Kelly Moench of Menahga; stepchildren: Todd (Amber) Doll of Menahga; Mark (Karlene) Doll of Henning; and Tina Juvrud of Braham; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Judy (Tony) Wenzel of Randall; and Sharon (Jerry) Wollum of Coon Rapids; brothers: Lee (Anita) Moench of Sebeka; and Tim Moench of Sebeka; many other relatives and a host of friends.
