Margo J. Skillings

Margo Jean (Berg) Skillings, age 57, of Chaska, MN, formerly of Bluffton, MN, died on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Chaska.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Margo was born on November 26, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN, the youngest of 5 children to Harold and Leona (Petterson) Berg. She graduated from Sebeka High School in 1982. On August 9, 1993 she married Gordon Skillings in Wadena, MN. They lived in Bluffton for 24 years before Margo moved to be with her son in Chaska. She was in the nursing profession for a couple of years, but her greatest love was being a caregiver to her daughter, Kayla. She loved board games and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Alan “A.J. Berg.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon of New York Mills; children, Brandon Spencer of Chaska, Kayla Spencer of Perham, Teresa Skillings (Austin Kielty) of WA; grandson, Dean; brother, Wayne (Shirley) Berg of Palmer, AK; sisters, Kathryn (Roy) Hertenstein of Apple Valley, Lona (Richard) Davis of Canyon City, CO.
