Bruce passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital ICU due to a brain hemorrhage caused from a birth defect. His family and friends surrounded him through his passing.

Bruce was born in Fairmont, MN to Warren and Hannah Christensen. He grew up in Detroit Lakes, MN where he graduated high school. Bruce was an entrepreneur by nature. He ran a business in Detroit Lakes for 15 years. He moved to Wadena, MN where he owned and operated Wadena Vacuum. Bruce retired last year due to his blindness. He would like to thank everyone that supported him and the vacuum business over the last 20 years!

In his spare time, he loved to play music. Bruce was in numerous bands. He played the drums, bass guitar, electric guitar, piano, trumpet, and sang. His biggest highlight was playing at WeFest. He loved flea markets, working out, going to Raferties Pizza, but above all else, Bruce was a dedicated father and grandfather.

Bruce leaves behind his children: Bryan (Johanna) Christensen, Amanda (Justin) Fetzer, Nathaniel (Chandra) Christensen, and Mariah (Jamie) Soderling. His father Warren Christensen, Sister Penny (Joe) Morris, 6 grandchildren, and 2 nephews.

Bruce will be joining his mother Hannah in heaven.

We would like to thank the following; St. Cloud Hospital staff for providing Bruce with comfort and care, Wadena Police Department, Tri-County EMS and Hospital, Vickie Paurus, Andrew Wood, Greg Denny, and the Gorecki Guest House for providing comfort to the family during Bruce's passing.
