Urbach awarded as outstanding supervisor

Sarah Urbach is a Supervisor at Todd-Wadena Community Corrections, which is a probation and parole agency providing services to clients on juvenile diversion, juvenile and adult probation, and supervised release in Todd and Wadena Counties. Urbach began employment with Todd-Wadena Community Corrections in 2001, and since that time has served as a Truancy Prevention Worker, adult and juvenile Corrections Agent, and most recently as Supervisor since 2015.

On Feb. 28, 2019, at this year's annual Corrections Agent Conference sponsored by the Minnesota Association of Community Corrections Act Counties (MACCAC), Sarah Urbach received the Outstanding Supervisor Award. The award is given to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills as supervisors in community corrections agencies. The award seeks to recognize not only high quality work as supervisors of probation agents and other staff but also leadership and commitment to developing staff competency and skills in evidenced based practices.
