People are sheep. Want proof? If I were to throw you over a cliff and call down to you, "don't worry, I'm here to help," you would probably decide I was some kind of psycho and would want absolutely no "help" from me. But yet I keep hearing people over and over again say things like: "I hope the government (or Obama) can lead us out of this economic mess."
Hello people. The government is the one who threw you over the cliff! And they did it "bipartisan." We are fast down the path of "bailoutism" leading to nationalism. The only difference between us and sheep is that we have a voice. We all had better call, write, e-mail, fax or do whatever it takes to let our representatives know that the same organization that threw us over the cliff by giving us low income lending laws, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac etc.
The government is the last organization we want to attempt to save the economy. If we don't stop acting like sheep then the government (including our new messiah) is surely going to lead us to slaughter.
