Trevor Ness scored a hat trick and Joey Osborn added two goals Saturday as the Wadena-Deer Creek skaters won their fourth straight Saturday at the Wadena Community Center.
Taylor Bienusa had a three-point game for the Wolverines and scored a short-handed goal in the second period. Colter Pettit, Brandon McManigle and Dylan Carlisle all came up with two-point games for the Wolverines, who won for the ninth time in 14 outings.
Allen Uselman kicked out 34 shots and blanked Kittson Central in the opening period.
Kellen Albrecht and Craig Lindegard had two-point games for Kittson Central.
The victory gave the Wolverines a regular season sweep over Kittson Central. Dan Savoie's club was a 4-1 winner over Kittson Central in a Dec. 13 meeting at Hallock.

The Wolverines will swing south this weekend for a Friday game at Fairbault and a Saturday afternoon game at Marshall.

The Wolverines exploded for five goals in the second period in a make-up victory last Tuesday with the Breckenridge-Wahpeton Blades.
Trevor Ness had a five-point game for the Wolverines with a playmaker and two goals.
Joey Osborn got the ball rolling for the Wolverines at the 10:07 mark of the first period with assists from Taylor Bienusa and Colter Pettit.

Brandon Wing gave the Wolverines a 2-0 lead at the 15:48 mark of the second period with assists from Ness and Dylan Carlisle.
Aaron Schmit put the Blades on the board at 14:31 with assists from Jared Christie and Justin Formaneck.
Carlisle gave the Wolverines a 3-1 lead when he converted off assists from Ness and Wing at 12:38.
Ness and Carlisle then set up Wing at the 8:03 mark.
Adam Wiertzema scored the second goal of the game for the Blades at 6:39 off a feed from Nick Nelson.
Ness started finding the net at the 4:25 mark of the second period. Logan Meyer earned the assist on his first goal.
Ness converted again 23 seconds later off a feed by Wing, who added four points to his season total.
Christie wrapped up the scoring when he scored the game's only power play goal with an assist from Wiertzema at the 16:47 mark of the final period.

Dylan Isola earned the victory by stopping 32 saves. Isola kicked out 12 shots in the second period and 14 more in the third.
