Jan. 4

• Erika Maria Leija, 26, of New York Mills was cited for no Minnesota driver's license and no proof of insurance.

• David James Loeffler, 31, was cited for theft (shoplifting) after a local business reported him. Loeffler was arrested for third degree assault - felony, domestic assault - gross misdemeanor, fourth degree damage to property - misdemeanor, fifth degree assault - gross misdemeanor after an altercation with his girlfriend and her child and then with a neighbor. Loeffler was arrested and brought to the Wadena County Jail where he made his first court appearance.

• Kenneth Levoy Warren, 33, of Wadena was arrested and charged with domestic assault after an altercation with his girlfriend. Warren was brought to the Wadena County Jail where he has made his first court appearance.

• Rhonda Sue Gray, 47, of Menahga was stopped and cited for no proof of insurance and driving after revocation.

Jan. 7

• Jeffrey Kyle Olson, 37, of Sartell, was stopped and issued a citation for speed (76/60).

• Beverly Marie Fank of Wadena was arrested and brought to the Wadena County Jail as Fank had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Wadena County.

Jan. 8

• Luke Joseph Nelson, 38, of Wadena was stopped and cited for driving after cancelation - IPS (inimical to public safety), a gross misdemeanor. The vehicle Nelson was driving was required to have the license plates removed and impounded as well, in accordance with MN Statutes.

 

The Wadena Police Department answered 117 calls for service this past week and investigated three motor vehicle crashes. No injuries were reported.
