After a month's hiatus, the Wadena-Deer Creek Marching Band is back in marching form and ready to perform at the Deer Trails Day on Saturday, July 24.
Wadena-Deer Creek Band Director Ken Nelson said the high school students are excited to march in Saturday's parade since they didn't get the chance to perform at Wadena's parade due to the June 17 tornadoes.
"It's nice to get going again after the tornadoes," said Nelson. "The kids have been honing their skills and are ready and excited to march on Saturday."
Nelson is assisted by high school band director, Lisa Weniger. The parade begins at 11 a.m. in the city of Deer Creek.
