Wadena-Deer Creek LEO members (from left) Kayla Hanson, Anissa Mench, Sam Bernstetter, Darylann Web, Desiree Isola and Elise Kallevig recently attended the District 5M9 Mid-Winter Lions Convention in Brainerd. The LEOs learned firsthand how Lions Club members raise awareness and money for diabetes, sight, hearing aids, the Leader Dog Program and many other community service projects in Minnesota, as well as internationally.
