A Wadena man died after a two-vehicle crash involving a farm truck Sunday afternoon.
Jerome Joseph Hiltner, 60, of Wadena, was killed when he collided with a farm truck hauling potatoes Sunday at 3:12 p.m.
Hiltner was eastbound on 320th Street, crossing Otter Tail County Road 25 just south of Minnesota Highway 29. The farm truck, driven by Virgil Dean Gilbert, 46, of Motley, had the right of way at the intersection.
Hiltner was treated at the scene by Wadena Fire and Rescue, the Wadena Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office and Tri-County Ambulance. Life-saving efforts were discontinued at the scene, the OTC Sheriff's Office said in a release.
