A Vining man died after the lawnmower he was driving was struck by a car.
Wayne Gunderson, 78, was struck in the middle of the road by a westbound vehicle driven by Barbara Obowa, 38, of Underwood, the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Gunderson was taken by LifeFlight to a Fargo hospital, and has since died. Obowa was taken to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls with undisclosed injuries, the sheriff's office said.
The Minnesota State Patrol is reconstructing the accident, which was reported at 2:26 p.m. Thursday.
